Mr. Portner has handled many hundreds of cases, and completed over sixty jury trials. By specializing our practice, we can assure our clients the highest quality representation. See the Employment & Discrimination Law page for more information about our services.

The cornerstone of our success is the quality relationship that we maintain with our clients. We treat all clients with integrity and respect for their needs, goals, and objectives. We listen to and communicate with our clients in order to provide them with the best legal representation possible. The client is always in charge of his or her own case.

There is no charge for initial consultation. All cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, where you are not charged any fee until there is a recovery on your case. Most cases settled before trial, but in order to achieve the best settlement we always have to be prepared that any particular case might need to go to trial. I and my office are extremely experience in preparing cases for trial and taking them through trial to a jury verdict. Almost always the defense attorneys will take your deposition testimony early in the case and we will have you completely prepared so that you feel comfortable testifying in your deposition and in the same fashion we will also have you completely prepared so that you are comfortable if it is necessary for you to testify at trial. Once you retain our services we will provide you with detailed testimony guidelines for your deposition or for testimony at trial. These are just the general guidelines for testimony. Whenever the time comes Mr. Portner will discuss these areas with you in much greater detail. As you will see the most important rule is to always tell the truth. In addition to being the right thing to do, this will also ensure that you feel most comfortable during your testimony. Do not worry if you think your case has flaws, or problems, as this is true in nearly every case. Mr. Portner is highly experienced in handling these kinds of situations.

Also, always remember that your communications with Mr. Portner, including any initial consultation, are confidential and protected by the attorney-client privilege, so that any such communication will not be disclosed to anyone. This is true even if, for any reason, Mr. Portner cannot take your case.

As set forth elsewhere on this website, please remember that nothing in this website should be considered as specific legal advice since all situations are different, and that nothing on this website is intended to create an attorney-client relationship.
